About the project

A national network of green and digital universities

On 11–12 January the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted the kick-off meeting of the partners of the national Erasmus+ project GreenKG. It brought together representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science, the European Union, the consortium coordinators, rectors of partner universities and the media.

Consortium members formed the steering committee and the project management board, reviewed the project’s goals and objectives, discussed communication, dissemination and quality assurance, and agreed on the work packages.

GreenKG will strengthen the innovation capacity of universities through digitalisation and social responsibility, in the context of the global shift toward a green economy and climate and demographic change.
